Meghan has been a valued member of Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since 2016. A lifelong resident of Kenner, she is a graduate of De La Salle High School and studied at Delgado Community College. Her deep-rooted compassion for animals began early in life and continues to inspire her work every day. Outside the clinic, Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband, Pete, their children, Eli and Penelope, and their beloved fur baby, Kaya.
Ilene S., CVT
Supervisor/Veterinary Assistant, CVT
Ilene is a Philadelphia native. She spent the last several years in the Florida Keys before moving to New Orleans in 2016 with her dog Otis, cat Schmutz and her rabbit, Billie. Ilene joins the Lakeview Veterinary staff with a B.A. in Foreign Languages from Bloomsburg University, an Associate’s degree from Cedar Valley College in Applied Sciences: Veterinary Technology and achieved Certification as a Veterinary Technician in 2011. In her spare time, Ilene enjoys biking, reading and watching classic movies.
Carly R., RVT
Veterinary Registered Technician
Carly was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. She recently graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Delgado Community College. Carly shares her house with her dog Piper, three cats, Calliope, Poppy and Pixie, and her Senegal parrot, Zulu. When not working, she spends her time with her boyfriend, family, and friends in addition to volunteering at a local animal shelter. She has passed the VTNE & is also a Registered Veterinary Tech in Louisiana.
Morganne J.
Veterinary Assistant
Morganne moved to New Orleans by way of Lake Charles. She graduated from LSU with a bachelor’s in Animal/Dairy/Poultry Science in 2010 and earned a master’s in Animal Science from Tarleton State University in 2013. Morganne also recently graduated from Penn Foster with an A.S. in veterinary technology. With many years of experience in the veterinary field, Morganne has developed a deep passion for animal care. She loves spending time with her husband, Michael, and their diverse family of 11 animals, including their dog Meiko, cats Eleven, Hopper, and Kylo, rabbits Popcorn, Bruno, and Luke Sky Hopper, snakes Butters Jr. and Danger Noodle, frog Matcha, and Bearded Dragon Puff. Morganne also enjoys traveling and has conducted wildlife research in South Africa and Botswana.

Veterinary Assistant
A New Orleans local, Danielle has been a cherished member of the Lakeview Vet team since 2014. Her love for animals extends to even the scaliest of reptiles. With an Animal Sciences degree from LSU under her belt, she’s now embarking on a new journey to become a human nurse. Her furry and scaly companions include her dog, Winona Ryder, and Rango, her 14-year-old bearded dragon. Beyond her dedication to animal care and her studies, Danielle enjoys playing beach volleyball, cherishing moments with loved ones, and exploring the dog-friendly bars of New Orleans.

Veterinary Assistant/Customer Service Representative
Kristine was born and raised in Kenner. She graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School and then the Veterinary Technician Program in 2013. She is studying now for the VTNE test. Kristine and her husband, Travis have a dachshund named Blue. Her hobbies are baking, shooting pool and spending time with friends and family.

Jessica joined our Lakeview Veterinary Hospital team in 2022. She’s worked as a veterinary nurse for over 20 years. She brings a wealth of experience ranging from emergency & surgery to oncology and internal medicine. Born in Rhode Island and settling here in Louisiana, Jessica loves road trips, camping, & fishing with her daughter, Stephanie. Jessica also loves spending quality time with her three cats; Martini, Screwdriver, and George as well as her six dogs; Ichi, Jackson, Tirese, Tatiana, Tallulah, and Leia.

Veterinary Assistant
Semaj joined our Lakeview Veterinary Hospital team in 2022. Born in New Orleans and raised in Gretna, Semaj has always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. She followed her heart and earned an associate’s degree in applied science from Delgado Community College in 2018 and is now studying to pass the Veterinary Technician National Exam. When she’s not working or studying, Semaj enjoys throwing the ball around with her dog Woadie and watching her problem children (Guinea pigs) Marsh-a-mellow & Raisin-bran have zoomies around their enclosure.

Aspen joined our Lakeview Veterinary Hospital team in 2023. Born and raised on a ranching farm in Wyoming, Aspen grew up participating in her local 4H organization. That love of animals continued as she attended the University of Wyoming receiving a bachelor’s degree in Animal & Veterinary Science. In her leisure time, Aspen enjoys singing and hanging with her cat, Wiggles. She also loves spending time outdoors with her husband and 3 dogs Nova, Ellie & Roo. She plans to continue her education and become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Ida is a native New Orleanian born and raised in the Irish Channel. A graduate of Riverdale High School, she has always had a passion and love for a variety of animals. In 2014 she started her career in the veterinary field and never looked back. When not working she enjoys spending time with her wife, their dog Zo, and the rest of her family.

Kait joined our Lakeview Veterinary Hospital team in 2023. Born and raised in Metairie, LA, she grew up loving animals big and small. Eventually, that passion led her to North Shore Technical College, where she graduated with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and has worked in the veterinary field ever since. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family, including her dogs: Pym & Pearl, her snake Poseidon, and her cats Smokey, Dexter, Oliver, and Sloan.

Veterinary Registered Technician
Bailey joined our Lakeview Veterinary Hospital team in 2025. A proud native of St. Charles Parish, Bailey was born and raised in Luling, LA. With a passion for animal care, she has been working in the veterinary field since 2019. Bailey recently graduated from Delgado’s veterinary technician program, earning her R.V.T. certification.
Bailey is the loving owner of two dogs: Odie, a playful Boston Terrier mix, and Olive, a spirited Black Mouth Cur mix. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active by working out at Hotworx with her boyfriend, Cam, and cherishing moments with friends and family.

Brianna, a native of Raceland, Louisiana, is an accomplished athlete and dedicated animal enthusiast. She excelled in softball at Central Lafourche High School and continued her athletic career at Coastal Alabama Community College. Brianna’s passion for animals has been evident since her youth. In her leisure time, she enjoys staying active through workouts and indulging in her love for reading.

Customer Service Representative
Gayle joined our staff in September 2008. She is also a long-time resident of Lakeview. Her family consists of her husband Tommy, two daughters, Jennifer (husband Paul) & Rebecca (husband Matt) and three beautiful grandchildren, Olivia, Abram & Kate. Her four-legged family includes a chocolate lab mix, Molly “The Moose” Brown and 2 cats, Prudence & Vader. Gayle has 20 years in education, and she says she, “gave up the two-legged kids for the four-legged ones”. When she is not working at the clinic, she enjoys reading, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family and pets.

Regina joined the Lakeview staff in 2015 after moving to New Orleans from Texas. She has been working in the animal industry since graduating from college. She enjoys gardening, hiking and reading with her kitties Capt. Jack and Maracas but she also spends a great deal of time defending her food from the one-eyed orange menace!

Brian joined the Lakeview Veterinary Hospital family in 2018. He has been dedicated to animal care since 2006 and ventured into the veterinary field in 2010. His commitment to the well-being of animals is truly commendable.
Outside of work, Brian cherishes moments with his wife, Eddrelle. His passions extend to exotic animals and aquariums, showcasing his diverse interests. Additionally, Brian is an avid football enthusiast, always excited to discuss the latest games and teams.

Kirstyn was born and raised in Westwego in Louisiana. She always had a love for animals and had an interest in working at a veterinary office since she was a kid. When Kirstyn isn’t at work, she is snuggling with her two cats, Thor and Loki, or watching her frogs: Rag, Val, and Odin. Kirstyn enjoys drawing/painting, playing video games, and watching anime.

Lexi joined our Lakeview Veterinary Hospital team in 2025. A proud New Orleans native, she graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School before earning her BFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University. Lexi’s love for animals is evident in her dedication to her three beloved cats, who often inspire her creative work. When she’s not immersed in her craft, Lexi enjoys unwinding with yoga sessions that help her stay centered and energized. A true foodie at heart, she loves exploring New Orleans’ vibrant culinary scene, always on the lookout for new and exciting restaurants to try.
