We want to reassure you that Lakeview Veterinary Hospital is here for you and your pet during this uncertain time. We also want to protect our staff and community while we continue to serve you and your pets’ needs. We are closely following the federal and local government recommendations and understand that they are constantly evolving. We will tailor our protocols accordingly.
We plan to stay open during our regular business hours and continue to see appointments. However, to minimize risks, we ask that you call us from your car once you arrive in the parking lot and we will provide curbside service to help us comply with social distancing protocols. The doctor will call you after examining your pet and a technician will escort your pet back out to your car. We take pride in always having a pristine hospital, but are taking extra precautions to regularly wipe down surfaces that are frequently touched to help prevent the spread of disease.
We also offer drop off appointments. You can call ahead of time and give a history over the phone to one of our technicians and they can meet you in the parking lot to pick up and drop off your pet if you are more comfortable with that. The doctor will then update you via phone. This minimizes contact between people and may be a preferred option for you.
Finally, if you prefer to stay at home, another option we offer is telemedicine. You can speak with a doctor via text or video/phone consultation. Download the app here: https://lakeviewvet.com/service/televet/
If you would like a refill of medication or food, please call ahead of time and we will happily bring out to your car.
We at Lakeview Veterinary Hospital will do everything we can to help not only you and your pet, but also the community. Please give us a call if you need anything or have further questions.
